Can you help me recover from an injury, illness or an operation?
Yes it has been proven that specific exercise can speed recovery and recuperation from the effects of injury and illness. We will personalise your programme to meet your current abilities, taking into account any limitations you may have, and help towards full rehabilitation. We are more than willing to contact and work alongside your consultant or specialist. Specific exercises and stretches can also ease the majority of chronic ailments leading to a more active lifestyle.
Do not use injury or illness as an excuse not to exercise. Do not be afraid to ask us to explain how we may help you.

Does using a gym have to be hard work?

No, fitness has changed remarkably in the last few years and the days of "No Pain, No Gain" are long gone. These days' being healthy and fit involves being active, eating well and finding time to unwind and relax. It's not just about how we look, it's about how we feel, both mentally and physically. Wilburs will offer you the opportunity to enjoy getting fit in a friendly atmosphere.

How long should each visit last?
We will discuss how much time you would like spend in the gym each session and we shall personalise your program to suit these limits.

Do you offer corporate/club membership?
Yes, we are always willing to offer discounts to larger groups of people, either through a business account or otherwise. Please contact a member of staff to discuss this further.

How long do I have to join for?
Wilburs do not ask members to sign a twelve-month contract. You can choose which payment method you wish to take; session fee, monthly direct debit or you can make a saving by committing to an annual membership.

How do I join?
Simply visit the club and inform the reception that you would like to sign up. You can phone in advance and book a time to view the facilities before deciding.
